The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Brunswick, Maine, to play the Bowdoin College Polar Bears in a 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship semifinal at Bowdoin's Whittier Field on Saturday, May 2 at noon.

The second semifinal features Bates College and Tufts University and starts at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The winners play in the conference final at noon on Sunday, May 3 at Bowdoin with an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship on the line.

Hamilton's overall record is 9-6 after the Continentals edged Wesleyan University 10-9 in the quarterfinals on April 25. Hamilton tied for sixth place in the conference standings with a 5-5 record and is the No. 6 seed for the championship. The Continentals are 15th in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings and are 18th in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Top 20 poll. Hamilton is in the NESCAC semifinals for the second time in three years and is aiming for its first appearance in the final.

The Polar Bears' overall record is 15-0 after they cruised to a 22-4 win against Williams College in the quarterfinals on April 25. Bowdoin took first place in the conference standings with a 10-0 record and is the No. 1 seed for the championship. The Polar Bears, who are hosting the final weekend of the NESCAC men's lacrosse championship for the first time, are No. 1 in the NPI and the USILA poll. Bowdoin defeated the Continentals 17-9 in Clinton, N.Y., way back on March 7. The Polar Bears have never won the conference title but have been the runners-up four times. Bowdoin edged Hamilton in overtime in the 2025 quarterfinals.
