Three Hamilton College athletes were selected for the 2026 U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Men's Division III All-America Team on Wednesday, May 20 when the organization announced its end-of-season award winners.

Carson Kraus '28 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City HS) made the second team as a midfielder and Riley Chai-Onn '27 (Rockville, Md./St. John's College HS [D.C.]) and John McKinnon '27 (Essex, Mass./Middlesex School) were honorable mention all-Americans at defense and short-stick defensive midfield, respectively. The all-America recognition is the first for all three Continentals.

Players selected for the team were nominated by their coach and then received votes from the All-America Committee.

Kraus was one of 20 players on the second team. He led Hamilton with 45 goals and 56 points and started all 17 games. Kraus added 33 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. He scored in overtime of an 11-10 win against Ithaca College on March 24. Kraus' goal with 21 seconds left lifted the Continentals to a 10-9 victory at Williams College on April 8. He was chosen for the USILA Division III Team of the Week on April 15.

Chai-Onn, who missed the last two games with an injury, still easily led Hamilton with 30 caused turnovers and scooped up 32 ground balls. He started 15 contests and recorded at least one caused turnover in all but one of them. Chai-Onn's previous season high in caused turnovers was 10.

McKinnon played in all but one game and tied for second on the team with 11 caused turnovers. He also picked up 20 ground balls, scored a goal and collected two assists. McKinnon notched his first goal since 2024 and tied a season high with three ground balls in the win at Williams.

The trio helped lead the Continentals to a 9-8 record, the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship semifinals, the second round of the NCAA championship and a ranking of No. 17 in the May 4 USILA Division III Top 20 Coaches Poll.
