Men's lacrosse draws St. Lawrence in second round of NCAA Championship

Former Liberty League rivals will play at Babson College on Saturday, May 9

The Hamilton College Continentals received an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday night, May 3 when the 40-team field was announced during a selection show on NCAA.com.
 
Hamilton gets a bye into the second round where the Continentals will play St. Lawrence University in Babson Park, Mass., at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. The earlier second round matchup features Babson College and the winner of a first-round game between Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Husson University at noon on Saturday. The second-round winners play in the third round at Babson on Sunday, May 10 at 3 p.m.
 
Hamilton has an overall record of 9-7 and was 15th in the final NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings. The Continentals advanced to the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship semifinals for the second time in the last three years and made the eight-team conference tournament in each of the last five seasons. Hamilton is making its second NCAA appearance (2003) in team history.
 
St. Lawrence (11-6) also collected an at-large bid after the Saints lost in the semifinals of the Liberty League Tournament. St. Lawrence was 20th in the NPI rankings.
 
Babson (16-2) earned an automatic bid for winning the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference title. The Beavers were ranked third in the final NPI.
 
Massachusetts Maritime (15-2) hosts Husson (12-4) in Bourne, Mass., on Wednesday, May 6 at 4 p.m.
