Men's lacrosse ranked 18th in national coaches poll after win at Wesleyan

Continentals are making their first appearance in the Division III poll this spring

The Hamilton College Continentals were ranked 18th in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Men's Division III Top 20 Coaches Poll that was released on Monday, April 27.
 
Hamilton (9-6 overall) jumped into the national rankings for the first time this season after a 10-9 win at then-No. 6 Wesleyan University in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championship quarterfinal on April 25. The Continentals have been among the "Others Receiving Votes" for the last few weeks.
 
Carson Kraus '28 leads the team with 37 goals and 48 points. Kraus was selected for the USILA Men's Division III Team of the Week on April 15.
 
Finn Vaccaro '29 has a team-best 16 assists. Riley Chai-Onn '27 has caused 30 turnovers and Andrew Higgins '28 has won 53.6 percent of his 278 faceoffs. Jack Williams '28 has started all 15 games in goal and has an 11.18 goals against average and .546 save percentage.
 
Hamilton plays No. 1 Bowdoin College in a NESCAC Championship semifinal at Bowdoin on Saturday, May 2 at noon.
