Men's lacrosse plays at Wesleyan in NESCAC quarterfinal on April 25

Continentals going for their second trip to the conference semifinals in three years

The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Middletown, Conn., to play the Wesleyan University Cardinals in a 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship quarterfinal at Citrin Field on Saturday, April 25 at 1:30 p.m.

Hamilton finished the regular season with an overall record of 8-6. The Continentals tied for sixth place in the conference standings with a 5-5 record and are the No. 6 seed for the championship. Hamilton is 18th in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings and is receiving votes in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III Top 20 poll. The Continentals are aiming to advance to the NESCAC semifinals for the second time in three years.
 
Wesleyan finished the regular season with an overall record of 11-3. The Cardinals took third place in the conference standings with a 7-3 record and are the No. 3 seed for the championship. Wesleyan is third in the NPI and sixth in the USILA poll. The Cardinals edged Hamilton 10-9 in Clinton, N.Y., on March 28. Wesleyan has won three NESCAC titles (2009, 2017, 2024). The Cardinals defeated the Continentals 12-6 in the semifinals on their way to winning that 2024 championship.
