Carson Kraus '28 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City HS) was selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for Monday, April 13.

Kraus posted 10 points, six ground balls, and a caused turnover in two NESCAC road wins. He scored two goals and added an assist in a 10-9 victory at Williams College on April 8. His goal with 20.6 seconds left completed a comeback after the Continentals trailed 9-4 early in the fourth quarter. Kraus tied a career high with seven goals in an 18-13 triumph at Trinity College on April 11. He gave Hamilton the lead for good at 11-10 with 5:46 remaining in the third quarter as the Continentals won in Hartford for the first time since 2014.

Kraus is fifth in the conference with 32 goals and tied for 10
th with 42 points. The NESCAC player of the week award is the first for Hamilton men's lacrosse this season.

The Continentals (8-5, 5-4 NESCAC) are ranked 16
th in the Division III NCAA Power Index (NPI) and are receiving votes in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III Top 20 coaches poll. Hamilton hosts nationally ranked No. 1 Tufts University in the Continentals' regular season finale on Saturday, April 18 at noon.
