CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals won the 2025 Hamilton Cross Country Invitational and placed seven women in the top 10 on Saturday morning, Oct. 11.
Taylor Harris '26 continued her dominant season as she finished second out of 44 runners with a personal-best time of 18:25.3 on the 5-kilometer course. Fellow senior
Emily Pogozelski '26 continued her similarly impressive season, coming in third place with a time of 18:34.0.
Claire Pfanstiel '27 crossed the finish line in fifth place with a time of 19:08.2, and was followed closely by
Emma Chrismer '28 in sixth place with a time of 19:12.9.
Charlotte Huck '28 rounded out the Continentals' top five in seventh place with a time of 19:23.4.
Mattie Dunlap '28 (19:31.4) and
Sofia Nogueiro '27 (19:52.8) gave Hamilton seven runners in the top 10 as they finished eighth and 10
th, respectively.
The Continentals placed first out of six teams with 23 team points, far ahead of runner-up Utica University (77 points) and Clarkson University (third, 81 points).
The Continentals take a week off from competition for fall recess and return for their final regular season meet, the Hamilton Tune-Up, on Saturday, Oct. 25.
