Hamilton College's
Taylor Harris '26 (New York, N.Y./Convent of the Sacred Heart) and
Emily Pogozelski '26 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City HS) earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athlete status for the 2025 NCAA Division III women's cross country season when the list was announced on Thursday, Jan. 29.

In order to qualify for all-academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

Harris collected the honor all four years. The economics and French double major led the Continentals at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, N.Y., by finishing in fifth place out of 163 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 21:57.7.

Pogozelski was all-academic for cross country for the second year in a row. The psychology major landed in 20th place out of 163 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 22:36.4 at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship at Genesee Valley Park.

The Continentals were also one of the USTFCCCA's 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country All-Academic Teams. In order to qualify for all-academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.1 or better on a 4.0 scale through the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

Hamilton had a team GPA of 3.74. The Continentals have collected this award under Head Coach
Ellen Hull in each of the last 18 years.
