Harris '26 wraps up collegiate cross country career at NCAAs this Saturday

Senior standout competes in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.

Hamilton College's Taylor Harris '26 (New York, N.Y./Convent of the Sacred Heart) runs in the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m.

Harris is in the national championship for the fourth time in her Hamilton career. She qualified for this year's meet on Nov. 15 when she finished in fifth place out of 163 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 21:57.7 at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship, which was held at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, N.Y.
 
Harris landed in 232nd place out of 290 finishers in last year's NCAA championship, was 199th out of 293 runners in 2023, and ended up 158th out of 293 competitors in 2022. Her fastest time on a 6-kilometer course is 21:55.6, which she recorded at the 2023 NCAA regional meet.
 
This is the first time the Division III cross country championships have been held in South Carolina. Saturday's high temperature is expected to be between 75 and 80 degrees.
