Taylor Harris '26 (New York, N.Y./Convent of the Sacred Heart) was selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on Sunday, Nov. 16 when the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee announced the participants for the event.
The Division III men's and women's championships will be held on the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Saturday, Nov. 22. The women's race begins at 11 a.m.
A total of 32 teams and 70 individuals were selected to participate in each championship based on their performance in each of the 10 regional races that were held on Nov. 15. The first seven student-athletes from each region that were not part of a qualifying team earned a spot in each championship.
Harris finished in fifth place out of 163 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 21:57.7 at the NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Championship, which was held at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, New York. Hamilton finished in fifth place out of 23 teams while New York University and SUNY Geneseo were the teams selected from the region for the national championship.
