ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Taylor Harris '26 led the Continentals at the 2025 NCAA Division III Niagara Regional Women's Cross Country Championship, which was held at Genesee Valley Park on Saturday, Nov. 15.
Harris finished in fifth place out of 163 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 21:57.7. She was 44
th after the first 1,000 meters but quickly moved into the top 10 and was all the way up to third place after 4,000 meters. Harris, who posted a 3:32.1 split during her third 1,000 meters, was still third after 5,000 meters. She ran the final 1,000 in 3:40.0 and slipped two places to fifth.
Emily Pogozelski '26 landed in 20
th place with a time of 22:36.4. Pogozelski was as high as 19
th at the halfway point in 11:06.0.
Emma Chrismer '28 ended up in 43
rd place in 23:26.1 and
Mattie Dunlap '28 was closed behind in 47
th place and a time of 23:32.3. Dunlap moved up five places in the last 1,000 meters.
Charlotte Huck '28 rounded out Hamilton's top five in 61
st place with a time of 23:57.8. Huck went out in 3:38.9 in the first 1,000 meters.
Nora Burroughs '29 came across the line right after Huck in 63
rd place in 24:00.4.
The Continentals finished in fifth place out of 23 teams with 173 points. New York University (52 points) edged SUNY Geneseo (64) for the regional title.
The 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships individual and team selections will be announced on Sunday, Nov. 16.
