GREENWICH, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in sixth place out of 16 teams in the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Fairgrounds Showdown at Washington County Fairgrounds on Saturday morning, Sept. 26.
 
Emma Chrismer '28 paced Hamilton in 32^nd place out of 168 runners with a collegiate-best time of 22:30 on the six-kilometer course. Mattie Dunlap '28 finished 38^th in a personal-record time of 22:35.1 and Ingrid Aagaard '30 was 41^st with a time of 22:38.6.
 
Charlotte Huck '28 landed in 43^rd place in a career-best time of 22:43.1. Caroline Iversen '29 rounded out the Continentals' top five in 57^th place and a time of 23:07.3, which was almost two minutes faster than her previous record with the Continentals.
 
Hamilton registered 177 team points. SUNY Geneseo captured the team title with 24 points, Vassar College was runner-up with 66 and RPI took third place with 84.
 
The Continentals compete in Lehigh University's Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa., on Friday, Oct. 2.
