The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., for a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship semifinal at Wesleyan's Jackson Field on Saturday, May 4 at noon.
Middlebury College and Bowdoin College play each other in the other semifinal that is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. The winners meet in the conference championship final at Wesleyan on Sunday, May 5 at noon for the NESCAC title and automatic bid to the NCAA Division III championship.

Nationally ranked No. 18 Hamilton (9-6 overall) finished in eighth place in the conference standings with a 4-6 record and is the eighth seed for the championship. The Continentals became the second No. 8 seed to win a quarterfinal in championship history on April 27 when they edged top-seeded Tufts University 14-13 in overtime. Hamilton, which has won its last three games, is in the NESCAC semfinals for the first time since joining the conference for lacrosse in 2012.Â
No. 10 Wesleyan (13-3) tied for second place in the conference standings with an 8-2 record and is the second seed for the championship. The Cardinals are second in the NCAA Division III Region I rankings. Wesleyan has won five straight games, including 18-10 against Trinity College in the NESCAC quarterfinals. The Cardinals recorded a 17-7 victory against the Continentals in Clinton, N.Y., on April 13.Â
