Men's lacrosse takes on Tufts in NESCAC championship quarterfinal

Eighth-seeded Continentals travel to Massachusetts for a meeting with the top-seeded Jumbos

The Hamilton College Continentals travel to Medford, Mass., to play the Tufts University Jumbos in a 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Lacrosse Championship quarterfinal at Tufts' Bello Field on Saturday, April 27 at 3 p.m.

Hamilton (8-6 overall), which is receiving votes in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Blatant Lacrosse Division III Top 20 coaches poll, finished in eighth place in the conference standings with a 4-6 record and is the eighth seed for the championship. The Continentals finished the regular season with two straight wins and outscored those two opponents, 32-14.

Nationally ranked No. 3 Tufts (13-2) is first in the NCAA Division III Region I rankings. The Jumbos finished in first place in the NESCAC standings with a 9-1 record and are the top seed for the championship. Tufts is riding a five-game win streak into the postseason and four of those victories have come against ranked teams. The Jumbos defeated Hamilton 19-12 back on March 15 at Stevenson University's Mustang Classic in Owings Mills, Md.
