CLINTON, N.Y. -- The Hamilton College Continentals host the semifinals and final of the 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Hockey Championship at Russell Sage Rink on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.

No. 1 seed Hamilton (19-4-2 overall) takes on No. 6 seed Williams College (10-13-2) in the first semifinal at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The second semifinal features No. 2 seed Bowdoin College (18-6-1) and No. 4 seed Middlebury College (14-8-3) at 4:30. The semifinal winners play for the NESCAC title and an NCAA championship automatic bid at Sage Rink on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tickets for each game are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for students/children 3 and older. Tickets for children under 3 are free. Hamilton reached this weekend with a 5-4 overtime win against Connecticut College in the NESCAC quarterfinals on Feb. 28. The Continentals finished in first place in the conference standings with 42 points and a 14-3-1 record. Hamilton captured its first NESCAC title last year on home ice after defeating Middlebury in the semifinals and Tufts University in the final. The Continentals split their season series with Williams, winning 4-3 in overtime in Massachusetts on Dec. 5 and falling by the same score at home on Feb. 20. Hamilton is 3-0 all-time against the Ephs in the conference championship. Hamilton was second in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings through Feb. 28 and third in the March 2 USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll.

Williams is through to this weekend after a 3-1 victory at Tufts in the NESCAC quarterfinals on Feb. 28. The Ephs finished in sixth place in the conference standings with 24 points and an 8-10-0 record. Williams has never won a NESCAC title, but the Ephs have played in the final five times, including in 2023. Williams moved up to 35
th in the NPI rankings with their quarterfinal win last Saturday. The Ephs have won three of their last four games.
