Men's hockey ranked No. 1 in final USCHO.com poll of 2025-26 season

Continentals defeated previously top-ranked Hobart in the NCAA Division III final on March 29

The NCAA Division III champion Hamilton College Continentals finished the 2025-26 season at No. 1 in the final USCHO.com Men's Hockey Top 15 poll that was released on Monday, March 30.
 
Hamilton, which was ranked sixth in the previous poll on March 9, last topped the national rankings during the 1988-89 season. The Continentals received 17 of the 20 first place votes and finished with 297 points.
 
Hamilton won four games in the NCAA championship and ended up with an overall record of 23-5-2. The Continentals took down previously unbeaten and untied Hobart College 2-1 in overtime in the national final on March 29. Hobart was second in the final USCHO.com poll with 283 points.
 
Hamilton won its first men's hockey national title and set a team record with 23 wins this season. The Continentals defeated No. 10 Norwich University in the NCAA second round and No. 3 Aurora University in the national semifinals. Hamilton was never ranked lower than ninth in the USCHO.com poll all season.
