Men's hockey up to second in latest Division III poll released on Feb. 2

Continentals are 15-1-2 overall and winners of seven straight games

The Hamilton College Continentals moved up one spot to second in the USCHO.com Division III Men's Hockey Top 15 poll that was released on Monday, Feb. 2.
 
After two weeks at No. 3, Hamilton won two home games during the weekend and switched places in the poll with Aurora University. The Continentals were ranked No. 1 during the 1988-89 season.
 
Hamilton extended its current win streak to seven games and improved its overall record to 15-1-2 with a 4-0 victory against Wesleyan University on Jan. 30 and a thrilling 3-2 overtime triumph over Trinity College on Jan. 31. The Continentals rallied from a 2-0 deficit midway through the third period against Trinity.
 
Luke Tchor '27 is fourth in NCAA Division III in goals per game and has 15 overall. Tchor is seventh in Division III in points per game and has 28 total. Devon de Vries '27 is tied for eighth nationally in assists per game and has 18 this season. Aksel Reid '27 is third with a 1.43 goals against average and eighth with a .938 save percentage.
 
Hamilton is second in Division III in scoring defense with 1.44 goals allowed per game. The Continentals are also second in penalty killing percentage at 95.7 percent (two power-play goals allowed in 47 opportunities).
 
Hamilton hits the road this week for two New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) games in Maine. The Continentals are at No. 12 Bowdoin College on Friday, Feb. 6 and at Colby College on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Hamilton is also second in the season's first NCAA Power Index rankings, which are used to determine at-large bids for the 2026 Division III men's hockey championship.
