Top seed men's hockey hosts Conn. College in NESCAC quarterfinals Feb. 28

Fourth-ranked Continentals will host the semifinals and final for the second straight year with a win

The Hamilton College Continentals host the Connecticut College Camels for a 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Hockey Championship quarterfinal inside Russell Sage Rink on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.

Hamilton has an 18-4-2 overall record and 14-3-1 mark in the NESCAC. The Continentals finished in first place in the conference standings with 42 points and are the No. 1 seed for this event. Hamilton captured its first NESCAC title last year on home ice after defeating Conn. College at Sage Rink in the quarterfinals. The Continentals outscored the Camels 10-0 in two wins this season. Hamilton was fourth in the Feb. 23 USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll and second in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings through Feb. 25. The Continentals led the conference in goals scored (88) and fewest goals allowed (39).
 
Conn. College finished the regular season with a record of 10-13-1 and went 6-11-1 in the NESCAC. The Camels ended up in a tie for eighth place in the conference standings with 21 points and are the eighth seed for the championship. Conn. College is trying to reach the semifinals for the first time since 2015 when the Camels edged the Continentals in overtime in the quarterfinals. Conn. College is 44th in the NPI rankings.
