ROCHESTER N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished fourth out of 23 teams at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday morning, Sept. 20 at Genesee Valley Park.
Zed McNaughton '27 led the charge for the men, moving up from 52nd to 12th place out of 312 runners with an 8-kilometer time of 25:59.2. McNaughton went more than a minute faster than his previous personal record.
Liam Card '27 finished close behind in 26:00.6, which was good for 16th place.
Jack Quinn '27 finished 22nd with a time of 26:07.03, and
Ellis Goodson '27 came in 38th place with a time of 26:30.8.
Donovan Baird '29 rounded out Hamilton's top five runners in 39th place in 26:31.1 in his collegiate 8-kilometer debut.
The Continentals finished in fourth place with 119 points and Rochester snagged third place with 85 points. SUNY Geneseo won the meet with a team score of 61 and Rochester Institute of Technology claimed second place with 68 points.
