Hamilton College's Reilly Loughman '27 (Norwich, Vt./Hanover HS [N.H.]) and Olivia Waruch '28 (Accord, N.Y./Rondout Valley HS) topped a list of a dozen Continentals who were recognized for classroom achievement by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) in February 2025 when the organization released their academic award winners.

Loughman and Waruch earned 2024 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction awards, which went to student-athletes who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Loughman is a Scholar of Distinction for the second year in a row.

Twelve Hamilton student-athletes earned a spot on the 2024 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, which honors those who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Becca Munoz '25 made the National Academic Squad all four years. The complete list is below.

The Continentals also collected a 2024 NFHCA Division III National Academic Team Award, which was granted to programs that achieved a team grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2024 fall semester. Hamilton picked up this award for the seventh time in eight years under Head Coach Missy Mariano.
