Three Hamilton College Continentals were selected for the 2024-25 CCM/American Hockey Coaches Association Men's Division II-III All-America Team on Thursday, March 27.

James Philpott '25 (Calgary, Alberta/Centennial HS), forward
Luke Tchor '27 (Toronto, Ontario/St. Martin Secondary School) and goaltender
Charlie Archer '25 (Belleville, Ontario/Phillips Academy Andover [Mass.]) were three of 31 players on the all-America team.

Philpott and Tchor were on the first team in the East and Archer was on the third team in the East. Eleven Hamilton men's hockey players have collected 14 all-America honors in team history.

Philpott was a third team all-American last season. He joins forward
Gus Katsuras '06 and goaltender
Evan Buitenhuis '18 as the only two-time selections for the Continentals. Philpott finished with 20 points on four goals and 16 assists in 29 games. He owned a plus/minus rating of plus-25 and blocked 22 shots. Philpott wrapped up his career with 13 goals and 57 assists for 70 points in 99 games.

Tchor led Hamilton with 17 goals and 34 points and added 17 assists in 29 games. The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year was a finalist for the Sid Watson Award, which is given to the best NCAA II-III men's hockey player. He had a plus/minus rating of plus-23, and five of his goals were scored on the power play. Tchor scored in the NESCAC championship final and in the NCAA Division III championship quarterfinal.

Archer started 22 games and registered a 1.47 goals against average and .940 save percentage with five shutouts and a record of 17-4-1. The NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year is fourth in Division III in goals against average, sixth in save percentage and 10
th in goalie winning percentage. Archer played in 45 games and more than 2,626 minutes in his career. He ended up with a 1.53 goals against average, .943 save percentage, nine shutouts and a record of 32-11-1.

The trio helped lead the Continentals (21-7-1 overall) to a team-record 21 wins and their first NESCAC title. Hamilton earned its second NCAA Division III championship appearance and advanced to the quarterfinals for the second time after a 4-2 win at University of New England on March 15. The Continentals have been ranked in the top 10 of the NCAA Power Index and the USCHO.com Division III poll for the last several weeks.
