Men's hockey hosts Conn. College in 2025 NESCAC quarterfinal on March 1

Top-seeded Continentals defeated the Camels twice in the regular season

The Hamilton College Continentals host the Connecticut College Camels in a 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Hockey Championship quarterfinal inside Russell Sage Rink on Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m.

Hamilton (17-6-1, 13-4-1 NESCAC) finished in first place in the conference standings with 41 points and is the No. 1 seed for the championship. The Continentals are the top seed for the third time overall and the first time since 2017. Hamilton is 11th in the USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll and 10th in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) rankings. The Continentals swept the season series against Conn. College with a 3-1 win in Connecticut on Jan. 18 and a 3-0 victory at home on Feb. 15. Hamilton leads the NESCAC in goals scored and goals allowed per game, power-play percentage and faceoff winning percentage. Luke Tchor '27 leads the conference with 15 goals and 31 points, and goaltender Charlie Archer '25 is number one with a 1.41 goals against average and .940 save percentage. The Continentals are hosting a quarterfinal for the third year in a row.

The Camels (9-13-2, 7-10-1) finished in eighth place in the conference standings with 23 points and are the No. 8 seed for the championship. Conn. College is 54th in the NPI rankings. The Camels are last in the NESCAC in goals scored per game. John Russo leads the conference with 332 faceoff wins, and goaltender Will McEvoy is number one with 32.4 saves per game. Conn. College has two wins in the NESCAC championship, including a 2015 quarterfinal victory against Hamilton.
