BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Hamilton College Continentals finished in 24th place out of 45 teams at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run on Friday afternoon, Oct. 3.

The Continentals' top finisher,
Taylor Harris '26, climbed hard after the first mile and moved up from 238th place to 77th out of 419 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 22:33.1.
Emily Pogozelski '26 constructed a similar race as she climbed 84 places and finished 107th with a time of 22:50.3.

Hamilton's
Mattie Dunlap '28 and
Emma Chrismer '28 finished less than two seconds apart in 189th place (23:28.4) and 194th place (23:29.7), respectively.
Sofia Nogueiro '27 rounded out the top five in 235th place with a time of 23:53.4.

The Continentals finished in 24th place in the White Race with 735 points. New York University won the race with 55 points, Carnegie Mellon University came in second with 157 and SUNY Geneseo finished third with 197.

Hamilton hosts the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 11. The women's race starts at 11 a.m. and the men's race follows at noon.
