BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in 32nd place out of 45 teams at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run on Friday afternoon, Oct. 3.
Jack Quinn '27, who was the Continentals first finisher, climbed 87 places after the first mile and ended up in 120th place out of 422 runners in an 8-kilometer time of 25:55.7.
Zed McNaughton '27 stuck with Quinn for the first four miles before he dropped off into 196th place and a time of 26:31.5.
After an injury-laden junior season,
Drew Richardson '26 returned to form with a time of 26:33.2 and finished in 203rd place.
Donovan Baird '29 finished in 222nd place with a time of 26:41.0, and
Luke Ferraiolo '29 moved into Hamilton's fifth spot in 229th place and a time of 26:44.6.
The Continentals finished in 32nd place in the White Race with 895 points. New York University won the race with 54 points, Amherst College placed second with 101 and Carnegie Mellon University came in third with 183.
Hamilton hosts the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 11. The women's race starts at 11 a.m. and the men's race follows at noon.
