WORCESTER, Mass. – Hamilton College finished first in the varsity eight third-level final at the 2024 National Invitational Rowing Championships at Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, May 12.
Hamilton was sixth in the second varsity eight petite final. The event doubled as the NESCAC Men's and Women's Rowing Championships. Five conference entries raced in the varsity eight grand final, another was in the petite final, and the Continentals and Connecticut College were in the third-level final.

th in the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association/Intercollegiate Rowing Association Men's Division III Varsity Eight poll. The Continentals posted a time of 6:29.108 as they captured first place in the afternoon and edged Vassar College by more than four seconds. Hamilton ended up fifth in its morning heat with a time of 6:29.369. Iona University, which made it into the petite final, finished in fourth more than 11 seconds ahead of the Continentals.
Hamilton's time in the petite final was 7:22.336. The Continentals grabbed the last spot in the petite final by finishing fourth in their heat with a time of 7:01.860. Skidmore College landed in fifth place in Hamilton's heat in 7:11.085.
