Hamilton College's Aksel Moon '29 (Yarmouth, Maine/Yarmouth HS) was selected for the 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Rowing All-Conference Team on Thursday, May 14 when the organization announced its end-of-season awards.
 
Moon, who was the only first-year on the 20-person all-NESCAC team, made the second team. The all-conference team is comprised of individuals from eight teams and is based on each team's finish at the NESCAC Championship held on May 10 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
 
Moon rowed in the 3-seat for the gold medal-winning varsity eight at the New York State Collegiate Championships on April 18. He was in the 4-seat for the varsity eight as they finished first in the petite final at the National Invitational Rowing Championship/NESCAC Championship on May 10.
 
Moon and Hamilton were ranked ninth in the May 6 Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association/Intercollegiate Rowing Association Division III V8+ Top 15 poll.
