The 17 wins are the most by the Continentals since the 2016-17 season. Hamilton edged Amherst College 4-3 in the quarterfinals on Feb. 24 for its fourth straight one-goal victory. The Continentals, who are receiving votes in this week's USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll, tied Tufts 3-3 at home on Jan. 13 and posted a 3-2 overtime win in Massachusetts on Feb. 10.

The Jumbos (13-9-3) finished 9-7-2 in conference play and third in the NESCAC standings with 34 points, and are the third seed for the championship. Tufts defeated Connecticut College 5-3 in the quarterfinals on Feb. 24 for its first win at home in the history of conference postseason play. Tyler Sedlak was named the NESCAC player of the week after he scored three goals against the Camels on Saturday. The Jumbos have their most victories in a season since the 2000-01 squad finished with 17.
