Hamilton College's
Luke Peplowski '25 (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield HS) and
Pandelis Margaronis '25 (Bethesda, Md./St. John's College HS [D.C.]) were selected for the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-Region Team on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
Peplowski is one of four midfielders on the first team in Region I and Margaronis is one of three midfielders on the second team. This is Peplowski's third all-region team honor as he also made the first team in 2023 and was on the third team in 2022.
Peplowski led the Continentals with eight goals and 19 points in 17 matches -- all of them starts. He had an assist in an NCAA championship second round match against Kenyon College on Nov. 16 and ended up tied for the team's career record with 17 assists. Peplowski scored 20 goals and recorded 57 points in 61 career matches.
Margaronis was second on the team with 10 points on four goals and two assists in 14 matches. He missed the first four matches due to injury and Hamilton's record was 1-3-0 during that span. Margaronis scored two goals in the Continentals' 3-2 win over Calvin University in the first round of the NCAA championship. He finished with eight goals and seven assists in 54 career matches.
Hamilton's overall record was 8-6-4 and the Continentals received an at-large bid to the NCAA championship. Hamilton advanced to the second round where they tied Kenyon, 2-2, but the Owls moved on to the third round after penalty kicks. The Continentals earned a spot in the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship quarterfinals.
