Hamilton College midfielder
Pandelis Margaronis '25 (Bethesda, Md./St. John's College HS [D.C.]) was selected for the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-America Team on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Margaronis, who was placed on the third team, was one of 43 student-athletes honored on the Division III scholar all-America team. He holds a double major in computer science and mathematics and currently has a 3.65 cumulative grade point average.
Margaronis made the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-Region Team earlier this month. He was second on the Continentals with 10 points on four goals and two assists in 14 matches. He missed the first four matches of the season due to injury and Hamilton's record was 1-3-0 during that span. Margaronis scored two goals in the Continentals' 3-2 win over Calvin University in the first round of the NCAA championship. He finished with eight goals and seven assists in 54 career matches.
Hamilton's overall record was 8-6-4 and the Continentals received an at-large bid to the NCAA championship. Hamilton advanced to the second round where they tied Kenyon, 2-2, but the Owls moved on to the third round after penalty kicks. The Continentals earned a spot in the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship quarterfinals after they tied for sixth place in the conference standings.
