Hamilton College's
Alexander Badami '26 (Blue Bell, Pa./Germantown Academy) earned 2024 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team honors as the conference announced its award winners on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Badami, who is on the all-NESCAC team for the first time, made the second team. The top seven finishers at the NESCAC championships are on the first team and the next seven fastest runners are on the second team.
Badami led the Continentals at Bowdoin College's Pickard Field course in 13th place out of 162 runners with a personal-record time of 25:04.04 for eight kilometers on Nov. 2. He was selected the NESCAC Men's Runner of the Week on Oct. 15. Badami has been Hamilton's top finisher in all but one race this fall.
Badami will be one of seven Continentals competing in the NCAA Niagara Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Fredonia State University Cross Country Course in Fredonia, N.Y.
