Three members of the Hamilton College men's cross country team were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday, Nov. 18 when the organization announced the all-region honorees for the 2024 NCAA Division III cross country season.
Athletes earned all-region distinction by virtue of finishing in the top 35 at one of the 10 regional sites on Nov. 16. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions are eligible for awards.
Alexander Badami '26 (Blue Bell, Pa./Germantown Academy), Jack Quinn '27 (Reading, Mass./Reading Memorial HS) and
Edward Trenk '25 (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley HS)Â collected all-region honors. All three are all-region for the first time.
Badami led the way in the NCAA Niagara Regional Championships at the Fredonia State University Cross Country Course by placing 13th out of 167 finishers with an 8-kilometer time of 25:29.4. Quinn was next in 32nd place (26:28.9) and Trenk was right behind in 33rd place (26:29.4).
