Hamilton College's Keira Rogan '28 (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Schuylerville Central School) earned women's all-America honors for the 2024 NCAA Division III cross country season on Monday, Nov. 25 when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released their announcement recognizing those individuals.

Athletes from USTFCCCA institutions claimed all-America recognition by finishing in the top 40 in their gender's respective race at the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Rogan ended up in 15th place out of 290 finishers with a 6-kilometer time of 21:24.3. It was the best finish by a Hamilton female runner in the national championship since Maggie Hanson '02 was ninth in 2001 when the race distance was five kilometers. Rogan is the first women's cross country all-American for the Continentals since Hanson and Jennifer Cammarano '03 accomplished the feat in 2001.

Rogan's performance in the national championship meet completed one of the best Hamilton women's cross country seasons in recent memory as she finished either first or second in six of the eight meets this fall. She was runner-up in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championships with a season-best time of 20:22.9 and earned the conference's rookie of the year award. Rogan qualified for this year's championship by placing second in the NCAA Niagara Regional with a time of 21:18.8.
