No. 26 women's tennis plays No. 5 Wesleyan in NESCAC quarters

Continentals making their first appearance in the conference championship in 18 years

The Hamilton College Continentals play the Wesleyan University Cardinals in a 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Tennis Championship quarterfinal at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., on Friday, April 28 at 9 a.m.

The outdoor site is the Torrence M. Hunt '44 Tennis Courts and the indoor site is the Bennington Tennis Center in the event there is inclement weather. The match may start a little earlier if it's held inside. Williams and Middlebury host two matches apiece in the quarterfinals, and Williams hosts the semifinals on Saturday and the final on Sunday.

Nationally ranked No. 26 Hamilton (8-8 overall) finished in seventh place in the conference standings with a 4-6 record and is the No. 7 seed for this event. The Continentals' four NESCAC wins are a team-high, and they are in this event for the first time since the last year it was a flighted championship in 2005.

No. 5 Wesleyan (14-1) tied for first place in the conference standings with a 9-1 record and is the No. 2 seed for this event. The Cardinals have won the last three NESCAC titles. Wesleyan defeated Hamilton 9-0 back on Oct. 2.
