Mona Farah '29 competes in doubles at the ITA Cup on Thursday, Oct. 15.
ROME, Ga. – Hamilton College's Mona Farah '29 and Grace Qian '27 dropped their round of 16 match in the NCAA Division III women's doubles main draw at the 2026 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College on Thursday, Oct. 15.

Farah and Qian lost in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) against Whitman College's Emerson Bonner and Renata Rosell Puga. Farah and Qian play Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges' Bell Zhou and Rebecca Kong in a back draw match at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16. Zhou and Kong are seeded second out of 16 doubles teams in the draw.

The Continentals' duo qualified for the ITA Cup by winning three matches and advancing to the semifinals in the ITA Division III Women's Northeast Regional Championship at Skidmore College in early October. Farah and Qian replaced the draw's runners-up from Saint Francis University (Pa.), which was not allowed send anyone to the ITA Cup because its athletic program is transitioning from Division I to Division III. Farah and Qian were the highest seeded doubles team out of the two semifinalists that didn't play in the final.
