Men's rowing 32nd in collegiate eights race at Head of the Charles

Continentals wrap up fall schedule with Head of the Fish on October 28

BOSTON – Hamilton College men's rowing finished in 32nd place out of 42 boats in the collegiate eights race at the 2023 Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22.
 
The Charles was the first event of the 2023 fall schedule for the Continentals, who posted a time of 16:35.439 in the three-mile race.
 
Tufts University, from nearby Medford, Mass., won the race in 15:25.428. Wesleyan University was third with a time of 15:32.275 and Williams College was less than two-tenths of a second behind in fourth place. Trinity College (10th, 15:54.330) was the only other boat from a NESCAC school that finished in the top 10.
 
The Continentals row in the Head of the Fish on Saturday, Oct. 28. The race is held on Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
