Hamilton hosts women's tennis regional championships this weekend

64 singles players and 32 doubles teams compete for ITA Northeast titles

Hamilton College hosts the 2022 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women's Northeast Regional Championships at Tietje Family Tennis Center from Friday, Sept. 23 through Sunday, Sept. 25.

The event gets started on Friday at 9 a.m. with the first round of doubles play and is expected to wrap up on Sunday afternoon with the singles final. The singles and doubles finalists earn an invitation to the ITA Cup, which is held at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga., from Oct. 13 to Oct. 16.

Hamilton's Hannah Apsey '25 is one of the top eight seeds in the singles draw. The pairing of Apsey and Stephanie Pratt '25 are one of the top eight seeds in the doubles draw.
