Hamilton College's
Hannah Walpole '26 and
Samantha Rainero '26 led the women's tennis team in singles play at the Vassar College Fall Scramble, which was played at Josselyn Tennis Courts and inside Walker Field House on Sept. 10 and 11.
In addition to the hosts, the Continentals competed against players from SUNY New Paltz and New York University.

- Walpole won all three of her singles matches in her first collegiate competition.

- Kate Solowey '25 made an appearance at fourth flight singles with an 8-1 victory.
- Rainero earned her first collegiate victory at fourth flight singles, 8-3.
- The doubles pairings of Apsey and Stephanie Pratt '25 and Cicero and Solowey won three matches apiece.
- Cicero and Solowey kept momentum and picked up an 8-5 win at second flight doubles.
- Rainero and Lorelei Glidden '24 owned an 8-1 vicory at third flight doubles.
- After shouldering a tough loss, Cicero and Solowey bounced back with an 8-6 win.
- Lila Freeman '26 and Ally Turtledove '25 collected an 8-3 win at fourth flight and an 8-5 triumph at fifth flight.
- On Sunday, Hamilton swept its first flight doubles matches as Apsey and Pratt cruised to a 6-0 win against NYU, and dominated the second flight by scores of 6-1 and 6-0 against New Paltz and Vassar pairings.
- Cutler and Walpole picked up a 6-4 victory in their first match at first flight doubles and the pair went on to win their second by a score of 7-6 (7-5).
- Cicero and Solowey rounded out the weekend by earning a 6-0 win at third flight doubles.
