CLINTON, N.Y. – Wesleyan University swept all the singles and doubles matches and the Cardinals defeated the Hamilton College Continentals 7-0 in NESCAC action at Hamilton's Tietje Family Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon, April 26.
Season Update
- The Continentals (10-7, 4-6 NESCAC) ended up in seventh place in the conference standings. Hamilton, which is 60th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III computerized team rankings, was coming off a 6-1 win against Connecticut College on April 25.
- No. 3 Wesleyan (15-2, 10-0) ended its regular season with an 11-match win streak.
How It Happened
The Cardinals won all three doubles matches and collected the team doubles point. They proceeded to take all six singles matches in straight sets.
