Bates College swept the doubles matches and the Bobcats edged the Hamilton College Continentals 5-4 in NESCAC play at Bates' Wallach Tennis Center on Sunday.

On paper it appeared the two teams were evenly matched and that turned out to be accurate. Hamilton (7-8, 2-8 NESCAC) is 20
th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Northeast Region team rankings and the Bobcats are 19
th.

The Continentals took four out of the six singles matches and all of them went to a third set or a super-tiebreaker.
Hannah Apsey '25, who is the 18
th-ranked singles player in the region, prevailed 10-5 over Anna Rozin in a third set super-tiebreaker at first flight. Apsey leads the team with a 16-7 singles record.

Stephanie Pratt '25 improved to 9-4 in singles play after she recovered from dropping the first set to win in three at third flight.
Kat Roberts '22 cruised to a 10-1 decision in her third set super-tiebreaker at fourth flight singles. Roberts moved her career singles record to 33-14 in her final match.
Shannon Cicero '25 outlasted Laura Littlefield 10-8 in the third set super-tiebreaker at fifth flight singles and ends the season with a 9-4 record.
