Hamilton College's Andrea Shipton '22 finished fourth in the women's pole vault in Nazareth College's 2022 ROC City Final Qualifier at Golden Flyer Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Shipton cleared 3.05 meters (10 feet, 0 inches) on the first try, 3.20 meters (10 feet, 6 inches) on her second attempt at that height, and 3.35 meters (10 feet, 11.75 inches) on the third try at that height. Her last height was 3.50 meters (11 feet, 5.75 inches), but she didn't clear the bar in three attempts.

Shipton's season best and personal record of 3.46 meters was set in early April. She has already qualified for the 2022 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championships (AARTFC), which will be held at Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pa., on Wednesday, May 18 and Thursday, May 19. Shipton holds the team's indoor record in the pole vault.
