UTICA, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals competed in their second meet of the outdoor season at the Utica University Pioneer Spring Invitational at the Pioneer Turf and Track and Field Complex on Saturday, April 4.
The meet was a non-scoring competition between 12 colleges and universities across Upstate New York.
Hamilton set a facility record and earned first place in the women's 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:07.55. The members of that relay were
Gabriella Martiniello '28, Kate Scibelli '26, Nora Burroughs '29 and
Hannah Turner '26.
Emma Chrismer '28 took first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.11, and was followed closely by Scibelli in 2:19.87. Both athletes qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships.
The Continentals host their outdoor invitational on Saturday, April 11 with events getting underway at 10 a.m.
