WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Hamilton College Continentals competed at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring 30th Annual Monmouth University Season Opener at Kessler Stadium on a chilly and windy Saturday, March 28.
Dana Schwartz '26 broke her own team record by more than three meters in the women's javelin throw, throwing a personal best of 43.84 meters (143 feet, 10 inches) and securing a spot in second place overall.
Emmeline Stoetzel '28 placed second overall in the women's long jump – 16 places higher than at the same meet in 2025 – with a mark of 5.18 meters (17 feet, 0 inches) on her fifth attempt.
Hamilton competes in the Utica University Pioneer Spring Invitational in nearby Utica, N.Y., on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
