Hamilton College's
Mia Schiel '22 finished first in the women's 1,500-meter run in St. John Fisher College's non-team scoring 2022 Cardinal Classic at Polisseni Track & Field Complex on Saturday.

Schiel posted a winning time of 4:57.94 in the 24-runner field.
Kristen Bitsberger '22 landed in fifth place in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:43.11.

Three Continentals finished in the top seven of the 800-meter run led by
Frankie Lilly '23 in third place with a time of 2:23.92. Lilly's performance is the best in the event by a Hamilton athlete this spring.
Katie Sands '24 was close behind in fourth place (2:25.59) and
Allie Reed '23 ended up in seventh place (2:30.21).

Andrea Shipton '22 took second place in the pole vault as she cleared 3.35 meters (10 feet, 11.75 inches) on her first attempt. Shipton tried three times at a season-best 3.50 meters but was unsuccessful.

The Continentals host the 2022 NESCAC Track & Field Championships at Pritchard Track on Saturday, April 30. Events begin at 9 a.m.
