Hamilton College swept the doubles matches and the Continentals went on to post an 8-1 non-conference win against the Ithaca College Bombers inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Wednesday.
 
The Continentals (7-5 overall) are 20^th in the most recent Northeast Region team rankings according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Hamilton travels to Amherst College for a NESCAC match on Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m.
 
The Continentals have won the last six meetings with Ithaca dating back to 2015. The Bombers (10-5) are ranked 16^th in the Northeast Region.
 
Hannah Apsey '25 and Kat Roberts '22 evened their record as a doubles pair at 3-3 with a win at first flight. Shannon Cicero '25 and Lauren Holtzman '23 are 2-0 after their victory at second flight doubles. Claire Cutler '24 and Becca Ingber '22 teamed up for the first time and were winners at third flight doubles. Apsey is 14-5 in doubles play while Holtzman is 13-2 this season. Ingber appeared in her first doubles match this season.
 
Apsey, who is ranked 14^th in the Northeast Region in singles play, improved her record to 14-6 as she triumphed in straight sets at first flight. Cutler outlasted her opponent in a third set super-tiebreaker at second flight singles. Roberts gave up just three games at third flight singles and boosted her career record to 32-12. Ingber and Sarah Bargamian '22 won in straight sets at fourth and fifth flight singles, respectively. Bargamian is a perfect 2-0 in singles this spring.
