Hamilton College's
Hyla Mosher '23 finished first in two events and was part of a winning women's 4x100-meter relay in Utica University's Pioneer Spring Invitational at Utica's Track and Turf Complex on Saturday.

The Continentals captured the team title with 216 points in the nine-team field. Hamilton competes in the SUNY Cortland Upstate Alternative Meet on Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m.

Mosher won the long jump with a leap of 5.11 meters and took first place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.53. She joined
Leah Basel '24, Michelle Wu '25 and
Nina Shaikh '24 as they posted a time of 51.05 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay.

Wu won the 200-meter dash in 27.98 seconds and Shaikh grabbed first place in the 100-meter dash final with a time of 13.04 seconds. Shaikh also landed in third place in the 200 meters in 28.19 seconds. Basel was a winner in the triple jump with a mark of 10.40 meters.

Kylie Oblak '24 claimed first place and qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run (18:31.20).
Betsy Overstrum '24 set a personal record and finished first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:42.04).
Andrea Shipton '22 recorded a personal best and won the pole vault with a height of 3.46 meters (11 feet, 4.25 inches).

Mia Schiel '22 won the 1,500-meter run (4:54.29) and finished third in the 800-meter run (2:26.92).
Frankie Lilly '23 was runner-up in the 800 meters (2:26.37) and
Liza Greene '22 took second place in the 1,500 meters (4:57.43).
Katie Sands '24 grabbed second place in the 400 hurdles (1:14.16), and
Hope Obolanle '25 ended up in fourth place in the finals of the 100 meters with a time of 13.40 seconds.
