The Hamilton College Continentals posted a 9-0 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Sunday.
The Continentals, who are ranked 17th in the region, improved their record to 5-1 overall and evened their conference record at 1-1. Hamilton plays another NESCAC match at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m.
Hannah Apsey '25, who was ranked 47th in Division III singles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association back in December, improved to 12-2 with a win at first flight.
Stephanie Pratt '25 is now 8-2 after her victory in second flight singles.
Lauren Holtzman '23 was a winner in third flight singles, and
Claire Cutler '24 outlasted her opponent 11-9 in a super-tiebreaker at fourth flight.
Kat Roberts '22 didn't drop a game in fifth flight singles and improved her career record to 31-7, and
Shannon Cicero '25 remained undefeated this season at 8-0 with her convincing triumph at sixth flight.
Apsey and Holtzman are 11-2 and ranked 13th in the region as a doubles team after their win at first flight. Cutler and Pratt are 5-1 in dual matches as a doubles pair after their victory at second flight. Cicero and Roberts didn't lose a game in third flight doubles.
