Zarle '22 garners second all-NESCAC team selection of her career

Senior was voted to the second team, is second in the conference in scoring

Hamilton College's Kelcie Zarle '22 (Wellesley Hills, Mass./Wellesley HS) was selected for the 2022 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference Team on Wednesday, March 2.

Zarle was voted to the second team by the NESCAC coaches for the second time in her career. She also made the team in 2020. Zarle is one of just 10 players on the all-conference team.
 
The shooting guard is second in the NESCAC in scoring with 19.5 points per game. She is fourth in free throw percentage at 70.6 percent, tied for eighth with 1.7 3-point field goals per game and tied for 13th with 1.4 steals per contest. She was one of two Continentals who started all 22 games. Zarle led Hamilton to a 52-43 win at nationally ranked Amherst by recording 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists. She scored 20 or more points in a game 12 times.
 
Zarle finished her 69-game career with 913 points, 158 rebounds, 138 assists, 114 3-pointers and 105 steals. The Continentals finished the 2021-22 season with an overall record of 9-13 including 2-7 in the conference. Eight of Hamilton's opponents are playing in the 2022 NCAA Division III championship this weekend.
