Women's track and field competes at Ithaca College Invitational

Five Continentals finish in the top eight of an event, led by Oblak '24

Five Hamilton College athletes finished in the top eight of an event in the non-team scoring 2022 Ithaca College Bomber Indoor Invitational at the Ithaca Athletics and Events Center on Saturday.
 
Kylie Oblak '24 led the Continentals as she was runner-up in the women's 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:39.99. Oblak qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Indoor Championships by one one-hundredth of a second.
 
Betsy Overstrum '23 finished third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:11.39. Liza Greene '22 landed in fourth place in the mile run (5:22.14), and Mia Schiel '22 ended up sixth in the 800-meter run (2:24.27).
 
Andrea Shipton '22 also placed sixth in the pole vault after she cleared a height of 3.36 meters (11 feet, 0.25 inches). Shipton owns the team record in the event at 3.45 meters.
 
Hamilton competes in an invitational at Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m.
