Three Hamilton College athletes finished first in an event in the non-team scoring Rochester Institute of Technology February Friday Indoor Invitational at Gordon Field House on Friday.

Michelle Wu '25 captured the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.77.
Mia Schiel '22 took first place in the 800-meter run in 2:23.67.
Katie Sands '24 ended up in fifth place (2:30.69) and
Christina Bagin '24 landed in eighth place (2:32.09).

Liza Greene '22 grabbed the top spot in the mile run (5:22.94).
Kylie Oblak '24 was fifth (5:32.06) and
Betsy Overstrum '24 was ninth (5:36.41).

The quartet of
Hope Obolanle '25, Wu
, Leah Basel '24 and
Vicky Dunn '22 powered the Continentals to second place in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:55.21. Basel finished fourth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles in 9.90 seconds, and Obolanle was 11
th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.36 seconds.

Sylvie Najarian '25 claimed third place in the 1,000-meter run (3:21.87).
Maddie Foss '25 was sixth in the 3,000-meter run (11:24.49) and
Kristen Bitsberger '22 finished ninth (11:25.58).

Andrea Shipton '22 led the field event performers as she tied for fifth place in the pole vault. Shipton, who holds the team record in the event, cleared 3.20 meters.

Hamilton competes in Cornell University's Marc Deneault Indoor Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 19. The meet starts at 10 a.m.
