Men's cross country takes Hamilton Invitational team title

Continentals grab seven of the top eight places in a dominating performance

The Hamilton College men dominated the seven-team field in the 2022 Hamilton Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
 
The Continentals filled seven of the top eight places and captured the team title with just 20 points. Division II Le Moyne College was a distant second with 67 team points and Clarkson University was a close third with 73 points.
 
George Brady '23 paced Hamilton and finished second out of 76 runners with an 8-kilometer time of 26:29.6. Bram Mansbach '24 was third in 26:36.6 and Joseph Simeone '26 recorded a season-best time of 26:42.6 in fourth place.
 
James Gallagher '24 landed in fifth place in 26:52.2 and Brogan Deem-Ranzetta '24 rounded out the Continentals' top five in sixth place with a personal-record time of 27:01.3. Andrew Richardson '26 finished seventh in 27:07.7 and Edward Trenk '25 took eighth place with a time of 27:14.
 
Hamilton is off until Saturday, Oct. 22 when the Continentals host the Hamilton College Tune-Up at 11 a.m.
